The IMET KS 652 column semi-automatic cutting machine is a band saw for cutting metal structures, pipes, profiles and beams. The machine can cut right and left up to 60° and is equipped with a large support surface and a visual reference on a graduated scale away from the center of the machine for greater precision and ease of reading.

Quantity

The vice slides transversely on the work surface, linear guides, lock, standard pressure reducer included. All KS series saws (450, 502, 620 and 652) allow you to attach a vice to press the material once and then rotate the arc to cut both right and left (up to 60°).

Easy to use thanks to the rotating work surface integrated in the arc and blade transition to optimize the material support system when machining at any angle.

Cutting precision is ensured by a graduated scale (on the work surface), which provides a visual reference point for the operator when cutting at an angle. Automatic stops at 45° left, 0° and 45° right are also available. To increase cutting precision, IMET band saws are equipped with a system for detecting the cutting degree from the center.

In electro-welded steel, the blade has an inclination of 6°, which improves material penetration and optimizes cutting performance. The rotation of the arc is achieved by preloading the bearing. The KS 652 blade has a tension of 2000 kg/cm2 and is equipped with a micro-switch that allows immediate stopping in the event of a blade break or power failure.

The machine is equipped with a blade guide that slides on linear guides for easy adjustment with hard metal inserts and additional bearings to improve alignment.

To make it easier for the blade to approach the material, the KS450 has a device for automatically detecting the starting and ending point of cutting.

The KS 652 is equipped with a mobile control console with an LED that controls blade tension, blade guard opening, motor thermal lock and electrical voltage. Using the controller, the operator can choose between 3 different ways to complete the cut: raising the arc with the blade stopped, raising the arc with the blade moving, and ending the cycle without lifting the arc.

Motorized nylon blade cleaning brush, driven by the motor pulley to always keep the cutting blade in perfect condition.
